NOTES FROM PRO BONO

Are you interested in helping address the truancy problem in our public schools? One proven solution has been early intervention through a truancy mediation process. The Pro Bono Program is gathering a list of student volunteers who might be interested in attending a series of training sessions and performing mediations in local elementary and middle schools. At this point training dates have not been set; we just want to know if there is enough interest to invest in this opportunity. For more information contact the Pro Bono Program at: robinson@law.sc.edu or drop by Room 233.
