SBA is here to help. The End of Semester Party will be Friday, Dec. 15 (the

JUST DEMOCRACY POLL WORKERS

Benson, Colin Colverson, Will Dillard, Raia Hirsch, Maurice Hood, Peter
Leventis, and Eve Ross.
HOLIDAY ANGEL
Be a Holiday Angel! Help The Healing Species and The Children's Advocacy Law
Society donate holiday gifts to local needy kids. Pick up an ornament from
the angel tree near JoAnne's office and return it with the unwrapped gift to
the Pro Bono Office, Room 233, by December 15.
Their stories: One child is a Katrina evacuee from the 9th Ward of New
Orleans who lost everything and spent three days in the water hanging on to
a tree.
Two other children were removed from their parents' home and now reside with
grandparents; one was severely physically abused, the other neglected. One
resides with his single parent (mother) who works 2 low paying jobs, and he
is responsible for caring for his special-needs younger sibling. The oldest
child is mentally handicapped and is developmentally on a 13-15 age level.
Last year he received nothing for Christmas and it will be the same for this
year.
Please open your hearts and help us gives these kids a holiday to remember!
