UVA NATIONAL SOFTBALL TOURNEY
The UVA School of Law is hosting its world famous softball tourney, the unofficial "law school national softball championship," the weekend of April 4-6th, 2008. USC Law sent a quality team to the tourney last year, put on a spectacular run and nearly knocked off the UVA gold team, the eventual tournament champion. We'd like to send another team this year to attempt to break the UVA juggernaut.
Due to the tournament's proximity to exams, and students' propensity to hunker down pre-exams, we are gauging interest to see if fielding a team is even a possibility. If we have enough interest, tryouts will be held in the early spring and the USC law team will play in the USC spring intramural league.
For more information on the Law School Invitational, please see www.ngsl.com.
Please email Brooks Fuller if you are interested in playing on the team or have any questions: fuller.brooks@gmail.com.
COFFEE CONFUSION
Please excuse the confusion regarding coffee pricing this past week. The current deal from our friends selling coffee in the lobby is buy 9, get the 10th cup free.
If you would like to see change regarding the availability of lower priced coffee, or any dining needs, please share your thoughts with Carolina Dining by filling out a comment form at:
