Profile

Stacy Etheredge joined the Law Library Faculty in 2005. She received her J.D. in 1991 from the University of Nebraska College of Law and her M.L.I.S. with a Certificate in Law Librarianship from the University of Washington in 2005. She also holds a M.A. in Psychology from the University of Nebraska, which she received in 1995.

Before pursuing law librarianship Ms. Etheredge worked in the legal publishing and information field, including six years at West Group. She has experience in law school, law firm, and county law libraries, and also completed an internship at the Association of the Bar of the City of New York.

Ms. Etheredge teaches Introduction to Legal Research and Advanced Legal Research. Her scholarly interests include legal history, special collections, preservation administration, and public access to legal information.
