Profile

Ellen Richardson received her J.D. and an LL.M. in International and Comparative Law from Cornell Law School in 2010 and her M.L.I.S. from the University of Washington iSchool in 2011. Ms. Richardson joined the Law Library faculty in 2011.

Prior to joining the USC faculty, Ms. Richardson interned at the Marian Gould Gallagher Law Library at the University of Washington School of Law and the Social Law Library in Boston, MA. During law school, she clerked for the Honorable Rosemary M. Collyer at the United States District Court for the District of Columbia, the Ithaca Law Guardian's Office, and the New Hampshire Department of Justice. She also worked as a research assistant for the Cornell e-Rulemaking Institute and was a Managing Editor of the Cornell Journal of Law and Public Policy and a bench editor for the Moot Court Board.

Ms. Richardson teaches in the first-year Legal Research, Analysis, and Writing program. Her research interests include food law, practice materials, and open government initiatives.
