Gloria Zinky received her M.L.S. from the Queens College Graduate School of Library and Information Studies in Flushing, New York in 1991, her M.A. in English and American Literature from Hofstra University in 1974, and her B.A. from SUNY at Stony Brook in 1970.
Before joining the USC faculty, Ms. Zinky served as the Assistant Director for Technical Services at the Charlotte School of Law. Prior to this appointment, she was a Senior Library Training Consultant for Innovative Interfaces, Inc. in Emeryville, California. Ms. Zinky also served as the Director of Library and Information Services at the Ross School in East Hampton, New York and the Director of the Greenberg, Traurig, Askew Law Library in Miami, Florida. Throughout her career, she has also held positions as a reference librarian, av librarian, and young adult librarian, as well as an adjunct professor of library science.
Ms. Zinky is the Head of Technical Services at the Coleman Karesh Law Library. She oversees acquisitions, cataloging, and serials, and maintains the library's integrated library system.
