Following graduate studies at Oxford and four years on the law faculty at Duquesne, Professor Felix joined the USC Law faculty in 1967, serving as a Fulbright Visiting Lecturer at the University of Clermont-Ferrand, France (1975-76) and at the Free University, Brussels, Belgium (1976). His teaching and scholarly interests are in conflict of laws, law and literature, products liability, and Roman Law. He is co-author of a treatise and casebook on the conflict of laws and a treatise on the South Carolina law of torts. Since his retirement in 2006, he has taught the course in Roman Law.
