• [F] An analysis by Professor Eboni Nelson provides a look at the effectiveness of the Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act of 2009 (the CARD Act) in protecting young adults. It appears in the April issue of the Banking & Financial Services Policy Report. (March 16). Professor Nelson recently posted on the topic to the NBC News Education Nation blog. (Updated March 30).
• [F] Professor Josh Eagle recently published a Coastal Law casebook that provides a modern, comprehensive, multi-disciplinary approach to this area of law and policy. (March 16).
• [S] The South Carolina Law Review recently elected its new Editorial Board and Senior Editorial Staff. (March 20).
• [S] The Women's Shelter Newsletter is ready to be mailed thanks to the law student volunteers who participated in the March 16th "Good Deed Friday". The next (and final one for semester) event is scheduled for Friday, March 30 at Harvest Hope Food Bank. "Good Deed Friday" is an effort by the SBA and Pro Bono Program to sponsor periodic community service projects. (March 20).
