Coleman Karesh Law Library Welcomes Faculty Members from the Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia
September 2009
In September, the Coleman Karesh Law Library was honored to welcome faculty members from the Universitas Gadjah Mada in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. During their week-long visit to the Law School, Pak Sigit Riyanto and Pak Paripurna S. Sugardo stopped by for a tour of the law library. The USC School of Law will partner with the Universitas Gadjah Mada on a twin-degree program that will begin in the fall of 2011. Each year, five students from the Universitas, who have previously studied law in Indonesia in an English language program, will enroll at the Law School to study toward an American law degree. The students will take the basic first-year curriculum, then electives in the second year. The faculty, staff, and students of the Law School look forward to welcoming our new friends and colleagues.
