What do old cell phones and health care have in common? Thanks to the NGO Hope Phones, a lot.

DONATE your old cell phone, even if it’s broken. Your phone will be sent to a recycling center to purchase credits for Hope Phones. Personal information and old software will be deleted from your phone. Your phone will be equipped with special software and distributed by FrontlineSMS: Medic. Community health care workers in third world countries will be trained to use the software to communicate about patient information. Your old phone will save lives.
