Who we are:
Just Democracy is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit organization founded and led by law students. Just Democracy directs the unique skills and energies of the nation's law students towards the protection of voting rights.
Our national goals:
  • Support fair and honest voting through non-partisan action.
  • Engage law students and law schools as resources in their communities.
  • Strengthen democracy in this and future elections.
Our local plans for 2006-07:
  • Distribute the South Carolina Voters' Bill of Rights to newspapers, colleges, churches, etc.
  • Invite local experts to teach lunchtime sessions of South Carolina Election Law 101.
  • Volunteer (and recruit others to volunteer) as poll managers and voting machine technical support on Tuesday, November 7.
