Thursday Night Bowling
Every semester SBA sponsors a Thursday Night Bowling League (aka Beer Bowling). Beer Bowling takes place four times throughout the semester on Thursday evenings and each Thursday night has a different theme. Students sign up for the league with their classmates in teams of six (3 boys and 3 girls). The total cost is $25 per person and includes rentals and two hours of bowling each Thursday night. Look out for sign up sheets in the SBA store at the beginning of each semester.
Get ready for two great seasons of Beer Bowling this coming Fall and Spring!
Spring 2006 Themes:
- Week 1 (Feb. 9): South of the Border
- Week 2 (Feb. 23): 70’s
- Week 3 (March 16): “I’m glad I’m not…” (dress up as whatever person, profession, etc. that you’re glad you’re not)
- Week 4 (April 6): Club Med/Luau

Contest Rules:
- A prize will be awarded to the best dressed guy and best dressed girl bowler.
- How to enter:
-Have a picture taken at the bowling alley
-Email the picture with the team name and bowlers name to applebycl@hotmail.com
-Pictures can be viewed online at www.uscjd.com for voting
- Note: You can either have one of your teammates take the picture, or if no one on your team remembered to bring a camera, then come find me and I can take a picture for you
- How to win:
-Tell everyone at school to vote for you in the SBA office
-Votes will be tallied the Wed. before the next Beer Bowling night
-Winners will be announced at the beginning of the next bowling night
- Prize:
-Each winner will receive a free bucket of beer for their team
