Admissions Committee (Standing Faculty Committee): SBA Representatives on this committee work hand-in-hand with the admissions office and ambassadors program to help set standards for admission of the incoming class, thereby shaping the future composition of the student body of the School of Law.
Career Services Committee: SBA Representatives on this committee bring attention to the needs of the student body in career development, interview skills, and networking opportunities.
Curriculum Committee (Standing Faculty Committee): SBA Representatives aid in shaping the content and structure of the law school curriculum, and contribute to curricular reform, in order to provide a legal education consistent with the needs of the current law student.
Drafting Committee: Members of this committee draft and revise amendments, resolutions, and legislation proposed and passed by the Legislative Council.
Elections Committee: Works with the Parliamentarian to ensure elections are conducted in a fair and efficient manner by proposing revisions to the election code and helping to resolve campaign violations.
Faculty Selection Committee (Standing Faculty Committee): SBA Representatives on this committee help address the needs of the student body in relation to the hiring of professors.
IT Committee (Special Faculty Committee): SBA Representatives on this committee serve as advocates of the entire student body to ensure that the most cutting edge technology is available to students.
Library Committee (Standing Faculty Committee): Advising the committee on issues regarding the needs of students in library facilities, the SBA Representatives on this committee represent the student body's preferences regarding interests in modern scholarly materials.
Pro Bono Committee: Members of this committee serve as a liaison with the Pro Bono Board, working to plan volunteer events for SBA members.
Social Committee: Representatives on this committee will work under the Social Chair, and will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and setting up all student events hosted by SBA.
Student Affairs Committee: SBA Representatives serving on this committee are responsible for directly addressing student concerns regarding the day-to-day operations of the law school. Members of the committee will research and issue reports regarding problems facing the student body and the law school.
