General Class Information

| |

First students are split into three sections, each consisting of 80 students. You will have all of your major classes with these 80 student. All the students in your two smaller classes will also come from your section.

While different sections will have their classes scheduled at different times, all first year students will take the same classes in both the fall and spring semester. Students are pre-registered for their fall classes. However, even though spring classes are predetermined for first year students, each student must go on VIP and manually register for those classes (students are not automatically registered for the spring semester). The registrar’s office and your mentors will show you how to do this and it will be the same procedure you use to register for classes throughout law school. Janice Goings is the law school’s registrar, and both she and her assistant Romona will be happy to assist you.

Below you will find a list of the classes you will take during your first year as well as other helpful links.
