Inform them of not only the personal satisfaction attendant with pro bono service (that one is a "given"), but also opportunities for networking, professional development, and resume-building

Convince school officials to offer course credit for direct pro bono service

Has pro bono work contributed to your sense of career satisfaction?
Most definitely

Yes, in the sense of continuing friendships with fellow members of the Pro Bono Board, along with an appreciation for public interest work

In your career, have you seen an overlap between your volunteer work and your sense of your own place in the community and the legal profession?
Yes, especially my nonprofit work

Integral part

I have no single cherished memory, but I was constantly amazed at her tireless and upbeat efforts in her public interest work
