Guardians ad litem sworn in
On November 6, 2008 ten law students were sworn in as new guardians ad litem by the Honorable Leslie Riddle. Judge Riddle praised their willingness to serve and encouraged them to stay involved in the lives of the children they serve. The students are eager to get started on their first case and help make a difference in the lives of a Richland County abused or neglected child. As guardians ad litem the volunteers will be part of the Richland County CASA Program. They are also part of a large team of law students serving the community through the USC School of Law Pro Bono Program.
