Pro Bono Program
Volunteer law students ready to prepare tax returns for low income and elderly people
Volunteer law students are ready to prepare tax returns for low income and elderly people for free! Starting on Feb. 14, the volunteers will be in the lobby of the Law School (701 S. Main Street) each Sat. from 9-12 and each Wed. from 5:30 pm until 8. The last day of service will be Sat. March 28th. No appointment is necessary; first-come, first served. Volunteers are certified by the IRS under the VITA program to prepare basic returns. Complicated, self-employment and business returns cannot be completed at this site. Contact the United Way's 211 program to locate other available services. This is the 18th year the Law School Pro Bono Program has offered this service to the community.
