Nicole Adams Wins 2009 Harvey Golden Award

Nicole Adams was recently presented with the Harvey Golden Award by the South Carolina Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers.

This award honors the contributions of the late Harvey L. Golden, Esq., to the practice of Family Law in South Carolina. Mr. Golden practiced family law statewide for over 50 years received many honors during his distinguished career.

The award is presented to a 2nd or 3rd year law student who has demonstrated a substantial interest in the area of family law, by taking family law classes, publishing/writing articles or treatises about family law topics, clerking/interning for family law practitioners or judges, or doing clinical or pro bono work in the area of family law.

Nicole, a 3L USC Law Student was selected based on her interest in family law demonstrated by her work with Richland County CASA, volunteer service, and substantial coursework in the area of family law. Nicole’s name will be added to a permanent plaque located in the Law School.
