For 15 years the Pro Bono Program along with other USC School of Law student organizations have prepared and served Thanksgiving Dinner to the residents and staff at St. Lawrence Place. This annual event has become a signature event for many students and one they remember fondly long after they graduate - it just may be the turkey or the mac and cheese but it may also be the gratitude of the families being served. The physical space is tight and even more so in the two small kitchens, but the students triumph and with a smile kick off the holiday season with this tradition.
Good Deed Friday made a difference in the Fall of 2013 at Harvest Hope Food Bank, HomeWorks and Protection and Advocacy for People with Disabilities. Once a month volunteers spent an afternoon making boxes and stuffing them, renovating a garage, building a deck, preparing and painting a house, cleaning up a jungle, and sorting years of confidential files! It is amazing what a small group of volunteers can accomplish and still have a smile on their face. Enjoy these photos from the Fall, 2013 Good Deed Friday events.

It wasn't long before the phones were ringing and the money was rolling in.
