Class of 2008,

Upon much consideration and discussion, we have decided to move the Commencement Exercises tomorrow to the Koger Center. This decision was not made lightly, but Mr. Stepp, with the Board of Trustees, Dean Pratt and myself all thought it best to move inside with the prediction for rain and thunderstorms throughout the evening and into tomorrow morning.

Please plan to meet in the Large Rehearsal Hall at 8:30 am tomorrow morning. Marshals and USC Staff members will direct you to the Large Rehearsal Hall when you come in. Remember that your family members must have an inclement weather ticket to be admitted. If you did not receive these tickets with your regalia, please stop by Tootie Hooks' office this afternoon to pick them up or see me at the party tonight.

Parking will be available in the lots behind the Coliseum (directly behind, not beside the Coliseum) and beside the Colonial Center. Limited handicapped parking will be available directly in front of the Koger Center. That area is the suggested place for dropping off disabled guests as well.

Immediately following the Commencement exercises, a picture of the Class of 2008 will be taken on the steps outside the Koger Center. This picture will be taken by Allen Anderson. Allen Anderson will also be taking individual hooding pictures. Those will all be available on the website www.partypics.com, with the password “usclaw.”

DVD

Graduation Celebration

A Graduation Celebration will be held on Thursday, May 8th at the Zone at Williams-Brice stadium. Graduates and one guest will be admitted free of charge, but additional guest tickets are $25 and may be purchased through Beth Davis (davisej2@gwm.sc.edu).
